Shetland Collection is a small knitwear business, established in 1980 by Doreen Brown who is now considered to be one of the most influential designers in Shetland. The knitwear includes original as well as traditional designs. Garments are hand-knitted, hand-framed or hand-spun in pure new wool from the native Shetland sheep, famous for their lightweight fleeces and renowned for it’s softness and warmth.
Being a small business we can provide a personal service where customers can order through the Internet or by sending for a catalogue. Garments of any size or shape and in a range of designs and colours can be knitted to suit customers requirements. Accessories are available to co-ordinate with any of the designs
